Our mission is simple: make it easier for people to find the right therapist.
We believe mental health care should feel accessible, personal, and human. Not like scrolling through an endless directory.
Why We Built This
Purple Lotus started with a simple observation.
As university students, we saw how many people around us wanted support but didn't know where to start. Even when they tried, the process felt confusing and discouraging.
So we started asking questions.
We spoke with over a hundred therapists and just as many individuals looking for care. What we found was a double-sided problem.
People felt overwhelmed trying to choose the right therapist. Therapists struggled to meaningfully connect with the right clients.
The issue wasn't a lack of options. It was too much noise.
Directories weren't designed to help people feel understood. They were designed to list information.
We knew there had to be a better way.
